[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used a pre shave oil but I was suprised at the diffrence in using it.An added bonus with the lemon sent is really nice as well.
The trick with using it is finding the right balance because with too little you won't notice but too much and you feel a little greasy afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have coarse, black hair and the Lemon Pre-Shave Oil softens it perfectly for a close shave. It has helped dramatically with the ugly ingrown hairs. The Lemon smell is soft and subtle also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a pleasant lemon scent as well as a fantastic pre-shave oil that will leave your skin ready to take on that dreaded shave. With my first use of this pre-shave oil my beard felt softer and more relaxed. I am not a daily shaver so usually by the weekend i have a decent beard growing. Normally i just use water and shaving cream, but after trying The Art of Shaving pre-shave oil i am hooked. I can't imagine using the same old boring and ineffective methods that i used since i was a teen. This man is all grown up and ready to use grown up products. I highly recommend the lemon pre-shave oil to anyone looking for that great shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a pre-shaving lotion before. It was a nice way to start shaving. It seemed to leave a nice coat of protection on my skin prior to shaving. It really worked well with the shaving cream The lemon scent was pleasant.
