The Sandlewood product was a dried out cake and not soft and creamy to the touch. Looks like they are dumping old product from closed retail stores onto their customers.

I have been using the tub cream for 10 years and it’s simply my go to cream. I find that it works best with a good shaving brush as it’s too thick to go straight onto your face. Get your brush nice and warm under running water and just add a little cream and lather it on your face. Do not use your fingers to spread the cream on your face as it too thick. Leave it for 15 seconds and shave with a cold razor (do not heat your razor). I get a super close shave and no rash.
