I purchased this stand on the advice of the salesman to prolong the life of my shaving brush. I was not sure if I wanted to commit to the expensive stands. My biggest complaint is that the stand should have been included as part of the Full Size Shaving Kit. Had it been included, I would have given it five starts.

Prosgreat stand
I bought this stand with a pure badger brush and have had both for about a month now and its a great stand for its price. The brush needs to be held upside down after a shave because water can seep into the base causing damage to the brush if you stand it upright normally. The stand gets the job done because I have nothing else to hold the brush upside down with.

Expensive thin plastic stand

I have been using the Art of shaving products for over 6 months now and everything has worked great. My wife purchased the 4 piece shaving set for me and I feel that for what she paid this should have been part of it. Honestly I was surprised there wasn't a stand included. Instead I had to buy this separately at a premium price. This is not worth what I paid for it and I feel like I am getting the “nickel and dime” treatment. For the record I will be on the search for new shaving products.
