Prosnon-sticky, moisturizing, pretty, easy to use
I have this product in black honey which is beautiful but somewhat dark for daywear. The spicy honey color is a more natural tint that is still sheer and light but visible on the lips. I like guava stain almost lipstick for full coverage and the spicy honey tint is very similar.

I love the almost lipstick.. it's sheer and doesn't cake up on my lips which have a tendency for dryness. The black honey was a bit too dark for me and I have been waiting years for Clinique to release new colors again! Thank you, thank you!!

Proscolorless
I have been using Clinique for well over 20 years and wore black honey for many of those 20 years. When I saw this new shade, I decided to try it (wanted a bit less red). There is virtually no color on my lips (and I am fair skinned so it would show). At this price point, I’d expect something more than a gloss. You can do just as well with an inexpensive lip product at the drugstore (made for chapped lips) or use vaseline; you’ll get the same look at a fraction of the price.
