Black Honey is hydrating, easy to apply, and looks great on almost everyone. It's a cult product for a reason. I have and will purchase it over and over again.

Not Universally Flattering

This is not good for everyone, despite the marketing hype. While I'm sure it's popular for good reason, it simply doesn't suit every skin tone. For reference, I have a fair olive skintone with a lot of pink/red pigment in my lips, and this product washes my lips out. The finish is nice and sheer, albeit a bit drying, and the colour doesn't flatter me - at least on my lips. I tried putting some on my cheeks and there it looks more like a sun-kissed glow as opposed to dull and subdued, so as a cheek tint it works in my case. But for its intended purpose, I give it a lower rating.

Dry chapped lips

I was really excited about buying this product after reading all the hype however I have found it disappointing as it's so drying every time I use it. It goes on well but Lips are dry and sore a few hours later.
