Pretty and natural but drying

I love the way this looks so natural, but it is a bit drying. When you've been used to using other Clinique lipsticks and balms which are super softening this is not quite what I expected but I atill love the product and would buy again.

I love Clinique and buy stacks of it but I'm very disappointed by this after all the hype. By being coloured but also 'thin', unlike a lipstick or a more conventional lip gloss, it gives really uneven coverage and is also quite drying. Will have to try the new lip gloss range which I was initially put off by the poor reviews ??
