I've been using Clinique products since the 1980s & wearing this little beauty since it first arrived on department store counters. I'm delighted to see that it has become an online sensation - who knew I'd be "on trend"! I find it comfy, soothing on my lips & highly wearable with just about any colour scheme from my wardrobe. I'm a sallow South Asian/ European mix & it just provides the perfect slick of natural colour to give me a lift every time I apply it. Compressing with a tissue & reapplying allows it to stay put so I only have to top it up when eating & drinking. Can't imagine it not being in my little back of tricks!

I've been wearing this since was in a gloss pot. It looks fantastic casually or for dressy occasions! The color complements my lighter brown skin tone but it's the type of color that will complement every skin tone! I'm sooo delighted that Clinique continues to sell this amazing lip color, please never stop offering it!

Come on -- It's a Classic!

The Black Honey is an amazing classic -- it looks great on any lip. When my son was in elementary school he played a vampire in the school play and we used Black Honey to give his lips a darker look. All the moms backstage immediately recognized it and we heard a chorus of "Is that Clinique almost Lipstick in Black Honey?!?" Yes, yes it is. Great color and it keeps lips well moisturized.

I love this lipstick! It leaves lips feeling soft and moisturized. I was initially skeptical about the color being "universal," but it looks great with my skin color! Whether I'm making a short trip to the store or getting ready for a night out, this is the lipstick I wear. I don't like heavy lipsticks or gummy lip glosses but this is the splash of color with moisture and I love it!
