I have been buying this lipstick for a few years now, I believe Clinique discontinued it or made very few for awhile so I am very happy it's now obtainable. Black Honey is a great shade on me and I love the soft shine and on me the colour lasts ages, thank you Clinique.

This is a great product. I am not a huge fan of lipstick because it tends to look really unnatural on me. But not this one, this is subtle and simply looks good. And it feels good too.

Color overhyped, hydrating formula

I wouldn't say black honey is universally flattering. It's an extremely sheer brown, warm toned purple that looks good on certain skin tones and is passable, unoffensive to most. I wear WN 46 (golden neutral) in Clinique and when I applied it, I thought - really? It became a Tiktok sensation? It's just mildly tinted lip balm. It did make my lips look more interesting than their usual pale, purple-nude self, but didn't do anything groundbreaking. To compare to the chubby sticks: more hydrating, glossy formula, less pigmentation. If you want color, go for the chubby sticks. If you want my lips but slightly different+hydration, go for Black honey. I got this as a sample, and I don't think I would pay for it. The full size packaging is very sleek and sexy though, very on brand for Clinique.

This product is so adaptable. It's everyday casual with jeans, yet it's also modern- a perfect finish to an edgy look for a night out. Black Honey's aesthetic is flattering to different ages, genders, and ethnicities. Plus, it's glossy and moisturizing!
