I love this for a couple reasons. One, it doesn't feel like lipstick, more like a nice rich balm (I traditionally hate lipstick and only wear balms). Two, the black honey shade is perfect. Love it for my coloring (fair with dark hair and naturally light-mauvey lips)! It's like a rich black cherry color. Lightly applied over a lip balm is nice or layered for a darker look (but it's still a sheer vibe) is fab!

Too dark for me.

It has good hydration. Not too much. Just right. But you have to reapply every now and then because it doesn't stay too long. The color doesn't look good on me. It's too dark.

All time favorite lipstick for this grandmother!

My daughter 1st got this lipstick in a big name department store when it first came out. She was a young teen getting her first makeup! When I first saw the color in the tube I thought it would be way too dark. Years later, I am still using Black Honey after trying hers. Totally unique, never found anything like it in any brand! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

There's a reason this is a cult favorite. I don't wear lipstick and only really like lip balm on my lips. Not only does this make my lips feel soft, it also smooths them out and Black Honey gives just the right amount of tint while still looking natural.
