The best everyday lip colors

I still remember when my mom brought home the Black Honey almost lipstick, over 30 years ago. I was fascinated by color seemingly dark in the tube, but beautiful on the lips. This is a cult classic for a reason! The formula is moisturizing and comfortable and the color is gorgeous and wearable for almost everyone. I recently started wearing the Pink Honey during the Summer months and it is so pretty and natural looking, with just enough color to brighten up my face. These lip colors look fabulous on with a natural make up look or could work in the evening with a Smokey eye. The other wonderful thing about these in both colors is you don't need a mirror to apply, the formula and narrow bullet make this extremely forgiving on application. I've had the Black Honey shade in my make up kit for 20+ years now, and can see myself using the Pink Honey just as often too.

At first, when I received this ("black honey") as a sample, I was hesitant to use it because of its strangely dark color. (I had not read the description). Then when I decided to give it a try, I was surprised at how nice it looked on my lips. It is really almost lipstick, and it takes the color that suits you, not like the one you see in the tube. As always, Clinique keeps surprising me in the best way with the results I get from their products!

My favorite of all colors was the ruby melt. I am black headed with olive skin n brown eyes. The ruby melt made everything look better. I will not wear any red lipstick as for me it is too much. But the ruby melt was perfect.!! I like the black honey also. These almost lipsticks are great for someone who just likes a touch of color. Best ever product. PLEASE PLEASE bring ruby melt back.

This almost lipstick is perfect! I bought the pink and its perfect! Its not too much but rather its subtle and classy.
