Surprisingly Flattering

Even though I've heard for years how universally flattering this lipstick is I didn't believe it. When I opened the tube and saw how dark it was I couldn't imagine how it would create such a flattering hue for my skin-tone. I'm not normally comfortable wearing lipstick and I usually just wear a tinted balm but this product felt so moisturizing and light I can see myself wearing it as my everyday go-to and looking a tad more polished.

Not for everyone

After reading reviews it seemed that this "almost lipstick" was the ideal "lipstick" for a day to day glow up. Unfortunately, I found the black honey to be way to dark (I expected a little more transparency or a more natural tint). I am quite fair, and with my skin tone it looked more like a watery dark burgundy lipstick than anything else, and was in no way flattering. It also seemed to sink into even the finest cracks in my lips. However, I think my disappointment comes from what I had expected. If someone is looking for a dark tinted mix between lip balm and lip stick, this could be ideal.
