I wanted to love it.

I wanted to love it. I read everywhere that this works with every skin tone on every person. I read that you can build up the color to your preference. As soon as I got it, I rushed to try it, hoping it would be my new go-to. However, even the lightest coat made my lips look brownish or blackish. It didn't have that great dewy look that I saw on the blogs. I tried it again once I put makeup on, thinking it would be better. That made no difference. I returned this product.

Love the hint of color with this lipstick! Bought on-line because it sells out too fast when I go to the department stores. A must have favorite!

Great color for women hesitant to use red/dark

I've never been able to wear red lipstick. I've tried all kinds and colors blue reds, orange reds, deep reds etc but I never felt comfortable or pretty with any of them. This lipstick has changed my tune and I love wearing it. I've known that Black Honey has been a cult favorite for years but only recently could I push myself to try it and I'm glad I did. Its more like a dark cherry. I am fair skin w/blue eyes & brown hair (blonde in summer) and this works great, lasts a long time and easy to apply. I love it!

Proscan apply without looking in the mirror
Constoo dark worn alone
I use this under or over lipstick whose color is not quite right. It's almost like a lip balm. Used alone lightly it's OK for a trip to the grocery store but it's too dark for me with a heavy application. I, too, wish the old colors would come back in this formulation. Why did Clinique choose this very dark color as the only one made in "Almost' ??
