I've used this lipstick for 25 years, have 3 on hand at all times. have never found any other lipstick or lip balm that can compare. just right amount of color with perfect amount of shine. I also have not had dry or chapped lips in 25 years! I will continue to use this product.
Long time Clinique user since 1972 when my mother took me as an seventh grader to the Clinique counter to get me started on a good skin care routine. Later in the 70s Clinique sold terrific lip glosses in little clear-topped Clinique-green pots. One of the colors offered was Black Honey. That was my carry-with-me lip gloss in my purse during the college years. The Clinique Almost Lipstick is that same beautiful mystical natural color when applied, but in an easier - to-use form. Great product! Moisturizing so you do not get the lipstick fatigue or cracked appearance— I can almost treat this like a lip balm. I have rather pale skin and it adds just the right amount of color so that my lips do not enter the room before I do (; Do not be deceived by the dark appearance of the color— it does not go on as heavily. As such, this might not be enough shade for someone with a darker complexion.
