Pleasantly Surprised

I'm new to Clinique and had not heard of Almost Lipstick until reading about it online. I purchased it out of curiousity and have to say that I am pleasantly surprised that this lipstick lives up to the description. The color really is great and the texture is light enough to wear anytime of day or night.

Prosa natural red look, feels light moist and sheer
I was using this in the 90's when it was called Black Lily. It is simply my favorite lip color. I have fair skin, blue eyes and dark blonde/light brown hair. This is the only 'red' I feel I can handle, as red lipsticks seem to look too gaudy on me. It's very sheer, feels great, and gives me a bright, red smile that looks surprisingly natural. I love the feel of this, since most lipsticks feel too heavy for me and glosses are too sticky for my taste.

Prosuniversal color moisturizing
This was an excellent purchase. My mom and I have completely different colorings (she is tan with brown hair and green eyes and I am the palest of pale with blond hair and blue eyes) and this lipstick looks good on both of us. Please don't ever discontinue this! It is the only lipstick I have ever found that looks good on me.

Gorgeous lip color

I was skeptical about this lip color when I first saw it - it looks jet black in the tube - but as soon as I put it on and built up the color it was a gorgeous, natural looking color, somewhere between pink and red, that was immediately flattering. It isn't shiny, glittery, or sticky, but it does give your lips a sheer natural-looking sheen that mimics and enhances your normal lip color. I have moderately fair skin with a pink undertone and most colors look ridiculous and unnatural on me, but this one just looked pretty. My only concern is that it is unflavored, unlike the lip products I am used to, but it is a small price to pay for gorgeous lips. I am officially a Clinique convert and a lifelong user of this product.
