Great universal tint, love the feeling. Not too "slippery" and not too thick. Stays on for quite a long time. Love it!

Prosdoesn't overwhelm, not too dry, versatile
I had heard about this lipstick through a beauty newsletter and they claimed it was the "lipstick that looks good on anyone!" It went on to say that it looked different on everyone and was went on a light color even though the stick itself is very dark. When I put it on, I was hooked. I am fairly young and this color doesn't make me look like I've been in mommy's makeup drawer. Usually lipstick dries out my lips and makes them tingle unpleasantly, but this gives just the right amount of moisture. I will never use anything else ever again! (as long a clinique keeps it in their collection...grr...)

Completely worth it

So I was a little put off by the price of this, but reading the other reviews, I just had to try it. I am so glad I did! I will admit that when I first opened this, the extremely dark color had my heart sinking, being pretty pale, dark lipstick and me really don't mix. But I tried it on, and it gives a really pretty flushed look to my lips, nothing at all like what I thought it would be. It is so perfect for just running out of the house, but I can see it being great for a night out with a clear gloss over it. Completely worth the price.
Don't let the dark color fool you. I'm so thankful I read the reviews that said that very thing. The soft shine and the soft color lets my lips look natural, but better. I'm back online to order more so I am never without it. One for work, home and my purse. At 50 something, I've finally found the perfect lipstick! Thank you Clinique.
