Prossmooth and satiny not sticky, very natural looking
Constoo light for some skin tones
...it's a bit too light. Although my skin is light, the tone is slightly olive, so lip colors often appear lighter on me than on others. After several reviews stating that the color is a little too dark, I thought the shade would be perfect for me. But it's only very slightly darker than my natural lip color (meaning it is too light to wear with full make-up), and I was hoping for a tad bit more color while staying with an "almost lipstick" product. Overall, this really is a great product. And the color is flattering - I just wish it were a bit darker. Better yet, it would be great if this product were available in multiple shades.

Prosliked the immediate color
Consfaded too quick
This did not last very long on the lips--had to keep reapplying it often. Seemed to sink in fast. I liked the color very much. Will go with regular lipstick instead! Perhaps it is because of too dry skin.

Proswonderful creamy smooth textured lipstick
Consonly comes in one shade
This was (is) the most fabulous lipstick! Very silky smooth like a gloss but it is a lipstick no nasty taste and is long lasting I used "Almost Bare" Almost Lipstick for a decade and felt a great lose when they discontinued it!! Black Honey is a beautiful color but much to dark for most Women. Why fix it if.........it ain't broke!

Great Color, But....

Prosfantastic color!
Consa little dry
I was searching around for a good lipstick/tinted balm that I could carry in my pocket at work and reapply quickly and easily as needed in a color that wasn't too overbearing for day. Clinique's Black Honey shade is wonderful, truly universally flattering! I have fair skin, blue-green eyes, & dark hair, and this color suited me perfectly. The only downside for me was that the formula seemed a little dry and I have to use gloss/balm over it(which defeats the quick, easy reapplication). For that reason, I have to give it 3 stars overall(1-2 stars for consistency/5 stars for color!)
