I have been wearing Almost Lipstick Black Honey for years. It simply is the most flattering shade on my pale face. Just enough color to show but not enough to be messy and get on everything when you drink or eat. Unlike lip gloss, it's not sticky at all and my hair doesn't stick to it. It feels close to lipstick in the smoothness of it but it is as moisturizing as lip balm.
I was putting it on the other day and my friend says, "Black Honey," and nodded her head. Everyone knows and loves it.
When I received this lipstick, I wasn't sure - it looks really dark. When I put it on I was pleased to see that it was a beautiful color. I think this color would be flattering on anyone. The texture is great too, perfectly moisturizing.

It's a beautiful shade for me and I can use it in different ways to get different results. Applying it lightly produces a "my lips but better" type of shade, while applying it as if it were a lipstick for full impact produces a lovely maroon type shade which really suits my skin tone.
