Almost lip balm??

After buying the cleansing balm (a favorite), I needed to spend another couple of bucks to qualify the last GWP. I was going to buy a chubby lip stick, but then decided I'd see what all of the fuss was about and try out a tube of almost lipstick. I bought this in the shade flirty honey which is supposed to be one of the more intense colors and I was a little nervous about how bright pink it was when I opened the tube, but a quick swatch to the back of my hand showed that it was barely visible when applied. To be clear, I do not wear full on lipstick, just tinted products, so that should say something when I am disappointed by the lack of color payoff in a product. The worst part is that, unlike the chubby stick, I find this formula to be drying. I much prefer the slim metal tube packaging on this product over the chubby stick plastic cap, but that's about the only feature that I was impressed with. My advice if you're looking for a lip product with sheer color is to go with the chubby stick instead.

Prosnon-sticky, creamy, moisturizing, addicting, fun, just right color
My sisters-in-law took me to dinner in DC, all 3 make up and dress up, I am the unadorned one, the conversation turned, uncomfortably-to new makeup and they were all suddenly raving about 'almost lipstick'-eyes turned to me-suddenly, the youngest whipped out a slim silver tube, pointed it at me and I saw myself taking it, opening it and putting on something other than balm! It was smooth, pleasantly soft, and NOT STICKY! Later, I was pleased to see that it had not made hideous glops or smears, just a soft, quiet slip of color. I now shamelessly carry my own slim silver tube, everywhere, even out hunting. And I confess, I have more than one.
nice product, sheer and hydrating with some color.

It is nice to see they have created some additional colors but you really only need to buy the Black Honey--it looks good on everyone. The name is accurate--this is a good, light, almost lipstick, more color than a balm. It gives some moisturinzing but does start to dry out towards the end. Black Honey goes on mostly sheer but imparts a little color, good as a basic daytime look. Millions of happy customers can't be wrong!
