The applicator has changed to a tube, like lip gloss. I had read online reviews that the product was more "wet", and "different". So, I was leery to try it. But, it seems like the same product. With the new style of applicator, more product gets on and around your lips rather than being absorbed into your finger. I LOVE it! I never liked using my finger to spread on the stuff. Good job, Clinique! My only suggestion is to update the product photo!
