I have been using Estee Lauder mascara since high school...49 years! I've tried to switch to less expensive and always come right back. It's the best.

I am picky about my mascara. I don't like thick, fake-looking lashes. The mascara also has to not bother my contacts and withstand my frequently tearing eyes (allergies). This mascara does all of that and comes off without much effort. I am giving it 4 stars due to slight smudging by the end of the day.
I bought this mascara because at the time, it was the only one that I could find in the color brown. It was not but a few months ago, and already it is drying out. It wasn't that impressive right out of the box, and I wonder if the Nordstrom packer did not just send me an old one nearly expiration. No, I do not do thing that dry out mascaras, like pumping or leaving the top off. I'm careful with my make up. I've been using mascara now for decades and honestly have to say for the price this mascara had the shortest duration.
