The ultimate old-school Leather!

Prostangy leather, warm and summery, bold, sparkling citrus
Azurée (nose: Bernard Chant) was deigned to be the sister scent to Aramis, and indeed, they are strikingly similar. This is a kind of patchouly/leather/oakmoss scent that was all the rage in the late-60's, through the 1970's. It achieved its smoky note from the perfumer's accord, Isobutyl Quinoline, an intensely woody scent with qualities of musk and tobacco.
Azurée just may be the feminine leather fragrance to end all leathers: tangy, bold, woody, smoky, with brilliant notes of sweet orange, tangerine and gardenia in the head. Azurée is a scent from when fragrances dared to be big, bold and assertive. Highly recommended for the intrepid perfume-lover.
This has been my fragrance for over 40 years! Everyone loves it. I haven gotten more compliments over the years than I can count. Please do not stop making this fragrance. It is wonderful!!!!!

I happen to enjoy this fragrance. I have received numerous compliments, from both men and women. It is evocative of another fragrance 'Bandit' by Robert Piguet I have in fact used these almost interchangeably.

I've worn this as my only fragrance for over 40 years. I still get complements and can't get through the day without wearing it. Please Estee Lauder don't ever stop making it.
