I’ve enjoyed this powder and puff on and off over the years. Lovely home spa day silky treatment, especially when layered with body lotion, Beautiful or other favorite scent. The packaging, fragrance and price have changed, but the memories remain. I’ve kept the empty containers, while still fragrant, in my lingerie drawers.
I have used Estée Lauder Beautiful Perfumed Body Powder in the past but the fragrance changed a few years ago so I switched to Chanel No.5. Within the past year, Chanel stopped making their powder and I looked for a replacement. I tried the Beautiful again and am very pleased with the fragrance and puff. The one complaint I have is the top of the container can separate from the base too easily and I dropped the very first purchase. Since then, I use great care to avoid such a mishap.
I was extremely disappointed that the packaging has changed on this powder. No longer does it have the pretty gold top that is dresser-worthy, but now comes completely in light pink plastic. I will have to hide it if I want to keep.
