I have always used body creams rather than perfumes because the fragrance in the creams was always just enough. White Linen body cream was my go-to back in the 80's and 90's, and feeling a little nostalgic a few weeks back I decided to once again buy one of my favorites. So disappointing! The cream I used to use was thick and luxurious and after the cream warmed up the fragrance was wonderful and lasted many hours. I could even smell it on my clothing. Not so, this body cream of today. Same jar but the cream looks whipped, and the lasting fragrance is just not there. The only reason I didn't return it for a refund was because I had also received a bonus gift with purchase and I just didn't feel like packing it all up to return. I'm very disappointed in this purchase and will not buy again.
Warm, spring days bring about the 80s-90s memories prom, parties, flowers blooming and the whimsy of being outside at each possible moment. Every spring I order a White Linen product to bring back those light-hearted and cheery memories. I felt like a million bucks and that anything could happen if I was wearing WL.
