I bought this in Soft Shimmer, bascially a very pale cream, with a undertone of candlelight pink with a shimmer...not glitter, not metallic, just a lovely highlight. I've used this on top of my cheekbones as a highligher, mixed with matte blush to make it pop, on my eyes as a beautiful neutral and over my cupid's bow on my lip to add fullness. I have dry, fair (MAC NW20) skin and it is completely age appropriate. I have tried many highlight powders that are just to disco. This is wonderful.

Soft Tint - Buildable and Universally Flattering

Prosnatural-looking, buildable
I am eurasian and on the more "golden/yellow" side of the neutral spectrum and often have the problem of products not being pigmented enough to appear on my skin, regardless of how much I try to "build" the colour. Of every product I have tried, Smashbox Softlights in Soft Tint has worked the best. In the summer, I can tan very deeply and this particular shade (a deep rose) gives my face a nice, natural-looking rosy flush. I do have to re-apply half way through the evening because my skin tends to absorb products quickly, but again, of all the blushes I have tried, this is has worked the best. I wouldn't say that this product has a "shimmery" quality because it finishes matte rather than glittery. The marketing blurb for this product seems like it is promoting it as a bronzer, but I use this shade as a blush. Flattering whether worn over foundation or on bare skin. I have tried a particular "cult fave" blush in another brand that is supposed to be universally flattering, but I find myself dedicated and committed to this product because it suits me better. In my opinion, THIS product in Soft Tint is the "universally flattering" shade of all blushes.

Prossheer coverage, luminous, natural-looking
I got this in the smashing prism shade. It gives a beautiful and soft glow, not a shiny look at all. I can wear it alone during the day or add to my regular blush at night for a candle lit glow. So pretty! so soft looking.
