I can't give this 5 stars yet because I have just used it for a few days but so far I like it. It seems gentle but it still thoroughly cleanses. I massage it in for a good thorough cleansing & rinse well. So far, so good:)
Despite its name, purity felt harsh -- not "purity made simple." The list of ingredients is long and half of it requires a degree in chemical engineering to decipher. My skin dried out and became irritated after three days of use. Definitely not for me and perhaps not for anyone--at least not this version of it.
I have been using Purity for over 10 years now and it has been keeping my skin looking young. I am 85 years young and Purity is my #1 reason. My daughter Julie got me started and she uses it too.
This is one of my favorite face washes. I have combination skin, with a tendency to have a few adult breakouts and this wash is not drying but still able to keep my face clear from breakouts.
