So, I took a chance buying these as a gift for my brother in law for Christmas. They're expensive for a gift that I wasn't sure if he'd like, but I knew he wore leather slippers in a similar style. A few days after I gave them to him, he sent me a text with a picture of him in his recliner with them on, watching a football game. He's a guy who isn't chatty on the phone or even a big texter, so what did he have to say in the text? He LOVED them. Said they were the most comfortable and warm slippers he'd ever had. Yay me.
This was a gift for a friend. He said he did not like the feeling of stuffiness, so the pile lining is a bit long evidently. Also the sole is a bit flimsy and does not provide a lot of stability. It needs a different type of sole. I usually put athletic inserts into my soft soled slippers of mukluks that I have purchased from UGG as it gives me a bit more room in the toe by drawing my foot into proper arch support shape and steadying my foot altogether. I haven't tried this with his. Also, noticed that the instep is a bit long and for pepl with high insteps, this does not work well. The instep section needs to be adjustable perhaps with a lace or elastic. Whatever you can provide that would accommodate any necessary adjustment to make it easier to slip into. He is a wide EEE size, too, so that adjustability really is important.
