nothing like the Chanel n5 I have known forever. Perhaps it was spoiled, for it had the scent of bug spray or roach killer. I opened, tried on, let it dry down and boxed it up for return. Made me very sad. I think the aldehyde used was inferior or maybe it was formaldehyde...lol.
This is my first Chanel perfume and I love it. It’s so classical and I am so glad I got the toilette version just because it’s strong enough and lasting! Very fresh and clean scent

What happened? Why the new lighter sent? I've worn No.5 for over 50 years! I'm so disappointed. If you need a new sent, create one, with a new name! Leave the original as it was. I've made this my signature fragrance all my adult life! Why? So very sad this happened.
