Proseasy to blend, long-lasting
I love my Chanel quads! The quality is buttery smooth and finely milled. It is pigmented but classy and not loud or crazy. It you want something with more color (bright greens and blues), go to Nars. If you want fool-proof, everyday, office-appropriate eyeshadow, then Chanel is for you! I love Nars, but sometimes I just want something more low key. I have Prelude, Seduction, Raffinement, Mystic and Topkapi and all of them are great neutrals with a kick. I highly recommend the quads for any eyeshadow beginner because any way you apply it, it will look amazing!

I have heard many times that Chanel quads can be either hit or miss regarding the quality and pigmentation, so I was happy to discover that 42 Seduction is a beautiful eyeshadow quad. The colors are very pigmented and soft, a bit powdery, but they apply and blend beautifully on my lids, no fall out at all (make sure you tap off the excess on the brush). Over primer they look soft and pretty, but over MAC Soft Ochre paint pot they become much more vibrant. I think it's a beautiful quad and I'm going to get a lot of use out of it.
I just received the new quad seduction. It is incredible. Once again Chanel came through again! I have found applying the shadow on first, before I decide if I love or hate it. Sometimes the color combo I think I will not like turns out to be one of my favs.
