This brush is great for applying dark color and matte formula eye shadows because it helps pack on the color precisely where I want it, and then I blend the color with a blending brush. It is a must have for me!

Everyone raves about this brush for packing color on the lids, and I bought because of it's huge following. It's a good brush, but I don't think it's anything special. It doesn't pack on color any better than any other mid-to-high range brush I've tried. I find the size to be a bit too large for the lid. The goat hair bristles are not terribly soft (though not scratchy, either). It's blends shadow OK, but it's not the softest or best blender. It stains very, very easily. Almost every time I use it, I have to treat it with an stain-removing makeup remover and a brush cleaner. It's made very well, doesn't shed, and it stands up well to washing.
