This brush was introduced to me by the sales girl to use with the Mac cream shadows. Got it home and used it when I did my make up next and it was great. Love the handle and the way it applied my shadow.

I've been using the MAC 217 brush for many years for applying shadow to my lid. I recently watched a YouTube video where the vlogger used this brush. I ordered three and it's now my new go to brush for applying shadow to my lid. It's great for pigments as I can pat the pigment on. I still use the 217 for all over shadow and blending.

The brush is harder than I think. It can precisely apply your eyeshadow.

Prossoft
This brush is super soft. I had another brush and the bristles were scratchy on my eye lids. This brush is great.
