I love this powder! It honestly is amazing and it just sets your face perfectly. I have oily skin and it helps me stay mate. It does not leave a white finish which I love since I am tan. When you use this powder it does not makes you look cakey at all, it makes your face and foundation look very flawless. I love it 100% recommend! It also has a good amount of powder that lasts you a long time. A little bit goes a long way. I always get complements on how my skin looks when I use this powder and the Chanel foundation together. Purchased this last year after watching a review and it's honestly a game changer. It's so thin and has a gorgeous luminous/velvet matte finish. I love to set my under eye and this powder never looks crusty or dry on me. I purchased the shade #2 it has a yellow tint to it I would definitely recommend this if you're between beige20-beige60ish. Go to a Chanel counter and get a sample that way you're fully comfortable. I have repurchased this powder 2x the powder lasts a very long time. My skin is also combo (dry & oily on some areas and normal on some lol. Anyway A+
My first experience with Chanel makeup was a sample of the Velvet Sunscreen base. I couldn't believe it actually went on as a cream and turned to powder! I went on to try the concealer and again, I was amazed at how I was finally able to cover my dark under eye circles! Let's try the mascara base and mascara, I thought. Ehhh, it's not my favorite and I still prefer Lancome. Finally, after much hemming and hawing, I bit the bullet and ordered this loose powder. I still have the same oily skin that I had thirty years ago as a teenager. I decided to really put this to the test and wore it for the first time on a 90 degree day. I. Was. Floored. This powder kept my face looking matte and oil free! This is perfection in a pot. I will say the color is a bit off. I wear a 30 in the sunscreen so I purchased the 30 in the powder. As soon as I received it, I put it on half my face and left the other half makeup free. I confirmed with my mom that the 30 is a bit light. During the winter, without a stitch of tan, I'm sure it will be fine but being it is summer I went ahead and bought the 40 color. Ahhhh, a much better match to my current color! This is the only loose powder I will buy from now on. Thank you Chanel!
