This powder delivers what the others promise. I use the puff, then sweep off excess and blend with a powder brush. If you want your skin to look and feel like velvet - even if you have imperfections - this is your holy grail! HG times two if used with Chanel Perfection Lumber Velvet foundation!
I was given the medium color to go over my Beige 10 complexion and it was awful. The lightest shade was better for the Beige 10 and sets my make up beautifully (with a damp beauty blender). How ever. I wonder if this powder is causing my mid day face to look MORE textured than in the morning since it has talc. I'm on the fence about keeping it or sending it back. But since I have yet to find one I like more (hated Mac, Laura Mercier, and ever drug store powder) I still use it. I'm too chicken to try and just wear Chanel Velvet foundation without setting it.
This powder is perfect! It's lightweight, doesn't cake and it's translucent so it's the perfect finishing step to my everyday makeup routine. I also use it to touch up during the day and it works great.
