I have used the Chanel Eye Pencil for almost 20 years. It goes on smoothly and you can smudge it a bit if you want to or not if you want a definitive line. It lasts all day with very little touch up if I'm going out at night. I have tried a lot of pencils over the years and Chanel works the best for me.
This pencil provides an intense and rich color. I use it mostly on my eye rim and it is very gentile. I also use Chanel eye make up remover so have no problem getting it off at the end of the day.

I bought this in noir because it had good reviews. However, I spent the entire day cleaning eyeliner from under my eyes and the corners of my eyes. I thought maybe I used too much, so the next day, I used as little as possible. It made no difference...the eyeliner was everywhere within a minute of using it.
