Exactly what I was hoping for!

This powder goes on smooth and provides the matte finish to my makeup that I was seeking. I do not like the dewy look and am always looking for the perfect finishing powder, and now I've found it! The applicator included in the package is just okay...I use it for touch ups, but when I apply in the morning before I leave for work, I use a blush brush to get better coverage.
I had a hard time selecting my shade from the online pictures so I ended up going into the store to purchase (a rare event for me). I've got olive skin and am half Asian so I was between the 30 Natural and 40 Dore shade. After testing both, the sales rep and I agreed 30 Natural was my shade. 40 Dore has some yellow undertones which would have matched well but it's more of a summer shade for me, once I had a tan going.
