Proslight, moisturizing, silky
I use this Chanel base when I want my foundation to stay on all day and not have to worry about touch ups. It's a very hydrating formula and definitely illuminates my face under Chanel foundation. I don't think it evens out my skin tone as much as the le blanc primer, but I do like this product and a little bit goes a long way. Makes my skin feel very smooth and silky. Nice light weight. Oil-free not a selling point for me since I have dry skin.

I was super disappointed when Chanel discontinued their base /primer with a yellow finish. It was the perfect pore reducing, color correcting undercoat (or standalone layer) for me. However, this had such good reviews that my mom bought it as a gift when she found out my holy grail product was empty. Unfortunately, this just didn’t hold a candle to the original. It has a light shimmer right out of the bottle but when I put it on, I don’t notice any difference. It certainly can’t be used as a standalone, it doesn’t do enough to even out my skin. Please bring back the old primer, Chanel!
