Very classy, a nice mix of lavender, vanilla, and vetiver, I don't detect too much lemon but once awhile I will get a whiff that reminds me of cloves. If you appreciate old school, this one will do ya I get a very tasteful projection of 3 feet for 4 hours then settles down close to skin for another 4 hours
Before retiring, Jacques Polge created his final work for Chanel, Pour Monsieur Eau de Parfum. This is very much a gentleman's perfume, is friendly and cheerful with hours of creamy, woody richness in the likeness of oakmoss and sandalwood, accented with a lightly powdered lavender, vetiver, and citrus.
Longevity is 8 to 12 hours and projection is closer to the skin than the previous Eau de Toilette Concentree version, making this a much more up close and personal fragrance. Wearing this fragrance at the office, for romantic encounters or formal use in cooler weather is suggested.
