I purchased 'Ballerina' (it's a very pale pink) at my local store. This was my first Chanel nail polish purchase. While it took three coats to get the desired shade, the polish went on flawlessly without any streaking. It compliments my fair skin, and my nails look neat and clean. I've tried many similar shades from different brands, and this definitely applies better than anything I've purchased previously -- much creamier than light polishes tend to be.

The layers of my nails would split and break and the polish would wear off the tips within a few days. I was given one bottle of Chanel polish at a class for women with Cancer. I had my manicurist use it on my nails. Amazingly, not only my nails do not split and break between manicures, the polish lasts about two weeks before the tips wear. I touch up the tips, put on a layer of top coat and I'm good to go for another couple of weeks. Chanel, along with other major top cosmetic companies donate the products used in the 'Look Good Feel Better' free class. We all leave the class with exactly that feeling.

Prosbeautiful, versatile color, lasts
i just ordered this color because i saw it in instyle magazine. it's an interesting color and hard to describe ... with just 2 coats it's in between a dark grey/blueish, but also a light undertone from brown. sorry for the confusion, but it is what it is .... it's beautiful and special and that's why i like it!
I needed a new red, and I really like "Rouge Rubis." It's a true red that doesn't really seem to go either blue or orange. Really pretty. This is my first Chanel nail polish, and I was really impressed with how smoothly the polish goes on.
