It has a bit of a "spice" scent to it, and has a clean, refreshing vibe. I dislike heavy strong perfumes or overly floral ones. This one is just perfect. I feel it has a rich, complex scent...very unique. I highly recommend!
I have been sampling fragrances for years and this is the first time I was surprised, impressed, and I bought it. Made in France, a classic fragrance (according to some online reviews) and it hit the spot for me, Woodsy, yet floral, light and elegant. Got complimented immediately the first time I went out in the world with it on. My only disappointment is it wears off after a few hours- but maybe that was due to that I couldn't "smell" it anymore, and I want to enjoy it! Maybe others could still detect its subtlety. I returned and bought another Burberry fragrance for my daughter's birthday, trusting that its credentials (French and "classic") would bear the fruit of appreciation.
I really like the scent of Brit, however I felt that the scent faded away after a few hours. I felt like I need to reapply around mid morning, so I didn't want to deal with that hassle.
When I learned of the notes in this fragrance, I didn't think I would like it ... How would lime and the other notes possibly mix together well? Answer: fabulously! On my skin, in particular the lime, amber, mahogany, and vanilla notes create a warm yet lively fragrance. The lime and pear notes add just the right amount of zing to the fragrance to enliven your senses. Excellent staying power on my skin and delightful soft dry down.
