I am not usually a floral person for fragrance, and definitely not roses.
"Stella" is completely different. The rose is perfectly balanced by the amber, making this fragrance deeper than a rose floral, and brighter than a spicy amber.
I've never purchased a rose based perfume in my life -- I veer toward chypres or a good floriental, or most things from Tom Ford's collections.
This is the exception. An exquisite fragrance, the peony and amber perfectly rounding out the soft rose heart.
I've been searching for a replacement for my DKNY drop of rose which has been discontinued.....was hoping this was it, especially after reading the reviews. On me, the scent went extremely musky after the rose scent faded, and thats just not what I was looking for. My daughter loved it, my husband hated it.
Such a great light scent, especially for work and for summer! I have been wearing it for a few years now and always get compliments. It is getting more difficult to find, but thankfully Nordstom has it!!

This perfume is difficult to find, but worth the hunt. When I was in Seattle, the store didn't have it in stock but promptly offered to order it for me and have it sent to my home. The service was spectacular and the product arrived just a few days later.
