I guess you expect a name like Chanel to make the perfect eyeliner. I have gotten plenty of Chanel makeup/perfume products that have worked perfectly so after my Yves Rocher eyeliner died I decided to try this. The whole twisting to get the ink was new to me and the first time i tried it I got WAY more ink than needed. Even now, months later, I still have sometimes have a hard time getting the right amount. Another problem is that the ink is not on properly when you apply it once, its liquid moves around so not all is covered so you have to apply it a couple times more. One thing that make it different from my previous liner was that is "crumbles" away. This is convenient in the shower because then it does not smudge. HOWEVER, I wear hard contact lenses and sometimes the "crumbs" get in my eye, causing A LOT of pain.
While the eyeliner does make nice colour and, for the most part, stays on, the application process is a little inconvenient and those with hard lenses are taking a little risk wearing it.

This is my third one, and as much as I love that it does not smudge and dries fairly quickly and is long lasting, the applicator needs much improvement. When you twist up the pen, the eyeliner comes up at the tip in a glob, rather than evenly distributing on the pen so you have too much product. Also, you have to draw over your line maybe 2-3 times before it's a true black as it does go on initially quite sheer. I will not be repurchasing.

Proseasy to blend, long-lasting
This has been my go-to eyeliner for years. Despite the cost, I keep coming back to it. I have tried other liquid eyeliners from Ulta, Target, etc. as a more affordable option-but they have always smudged or worn off by mid-day. This is THE MOST expensive piece of make-up in my bag, but every six months (or longer) when I have to shell out the $35 to buy it, I am not sorry. I keep coming back to it, it lasts long and you definitely get what your pay for. The proof is in the pudding!
