I have used the Origins Primer for years, but it is no longer available. After trying several brands, Clinique Primer is very close to the quality of Origins. Serums do not work for me, and other primers have multiple issues as thickness, coagulation, or large brushes that are inappropriate. I recommend the Clinique Primer.
I was very skeptical about this product because WHY doesn't the mascara just work by itself? But I had gorgeous lashes in my youth that disappeared over the past few years. I decided to give this a try and it really does work, even as a base for other brands of mascara. If you want a little extra oomph this is worth it.
I have used this product in the past and liked it very much. Unfortunately the tube I just received is dry and very clumpy. I have used it three times hoping it would get better but I think this tube must have sat in the warehouse too long. It would be too much trouble to mail back or head to the store to return - very disappointing.
