I have to agree that the quality of Uggs is not even close to what it was back in the early 2000s. I had a pair of Uggs that lasted for years.. actually still have them. Then bought another pair in 2015 and the fur wore down and disappeared in the heel, within 1 month. So I bought a pair of Uggs insoles, and glued them into the footbeds. It worked.. very snug at first. I will never buy another pair of Uggs... Not even for $30!! They are not worth it.
I have purchased Ugg slippers for a very long time, when I saw all the reviews about how in two weeks, most starred to fall apart, I sent these slippers back. The consensus does not appear good.
Uggs are just plain cute. Uggs make great slippers because they are warm and easy to slip on. Because they have a hard thick sole and look substantial they can be worn out side. They look good with just about any casual outfit and can easily be worn to the grocery store, yoga class, spin class etc. I get a new pair every year.
AS usual, UGGS are so very comfortable. This UGG will double as both a house slipper and outdoor shoes for me. Be sure and order one size down, as they do run big.
