I already have several pairs of what used to be called "Coquette slipper". Besides the name change, my size needed to go down one size. This is obviously not a deal breaker. Who doesn't mind wearing a smaller size. Looking at the web page description, it does state that the size runs large and to go down one size. I love this slipper. When I saw the Amphora color which is a light brown with leopard spotted genuine shearling lining. I had to have them. I have never been disappointed with an Ugg product.
I have been wearing Ugg Coquette slippers for several years. I usually buy a new pair every year. Like other reviewers have noted, the quality goes down every year now. Comparing the new ones to mine from last year, the sole is thinner(yes, I measured) and a softer? composition, and the fur wears off quickly. Does Ugg think we won't notice? Why not charge a little more and keep the old quality?? I'm sad!
I am returning this item. I have been buying UGG slippers for years & years and have noticed a slight change of quality each year for several years. This year I can feel the base tread through the footbed of the slipper. I think they did not put as much padding between the sheep skin and the footbed. They are not comfortable for me now.
