"toasty warm" was what my tootsies wanted and needed that late winter morning. So off I went to the Nordstom site to see what I could find. There they were-Uggs Shearling slippers-in a cool, soft gray. The sole of the slippers looked substantial-perfect for a quick dart out onto the porch or patio. When they arrived they fit like a soft gray glove with just enough "cush" from the shearling. I would like to report tootsies are now happy...and warm.
Saves my feet! After being treated for breast cancer, I developed neuropathy and my feet hurt so much at certain times of the day. So as soon as I wake up in the morning or come home from teaching elementary kids PE all day, I put on my slippers and they give me so much relief! In the morning I like to be barefoot to feel the softness on my feet. A great way to start the day!!!
I did go down a size and they were snug the first 2 days but now they are just right.
This is my 5th pair of these over the years, it’s not that they don’t last, I just wear them everywhere when I get home (to include bringing out the trash...). I love the rubber soles because I can wear them outside without ruining the bottoms. I’m an 8 in American flats and 8.5 in European flats and get these in a 7 but still have plenty of room. I always get chestnut but changed it up this time and got the black - I’m not disappointed. My last pair of UGG slippers were the Ansley, which I also loved, but I find these to be much comfier!
