I started buying these about 15 years ago. The quality definitely used to be better. The inside shearling quickly wears down and my most recent pair has some color transfer. They are still way better quality than cheap slippers that wear out after a few weeks. I’ll continue to buy them but for price point you expect them to last more than a few months & wearing only in house.
Ugg shearling slippers have been my go-to slipper for years. This is the only pair of footwear I've tried that is reliable to buy online. The slippers have always been comfortable from the first. You do not have to "break them in." I wear a 7 W in most shoes. I ordered the regular 7 in these. They are safe because of the lugged sole, and comfortable because of the generous toe box. They have arch support, do not slip off, nor do they skid on floors (we have polished hardwood floors with some slate and washable hard floors). Never once do they slip on any of these surfaces. They last a long time. So why buy these? They came in a lovely coral shade that goes with several gowns and pajamas. How fun! Nothing wrong with the original natural tan color (I like it too), but how nice to have some variety and enjoyment along with this comfortable, foot-healthy slipper. And my pink ones (also bought from Nordstrom before the pandemic and not yet worn out) sometimes need a break.
