I have been using this for years. I have tried to find less expensive substitutes but I always come back to this. My only issue is that it dries up quickly.

Waste of Money

Like many of the other reviewers previously stated, I had really high hopes for this mascara! Based on the reviews, I was torn between buying this or Georgio Armani's "Eyes To Kill". Diorshow turned out to be the driest mascara (department store or drug store) I've ever bought!!! Besides being extremely dry, it's not very dark. I was going for a buildable mascara to achieve a falsies look, no such luck. By the second coat, my lashes felt crispy and it was already flaking off! It does smell nice and has a big thick brush but definitely not worth the price! I've got a drawer full of different useless mascaras and that's exactly where this will be going!!!
I am giving this product only 3 stars because I feel that the brush is too big. It's hard to work with my lashes. It does curl my lashes but not lengthen. However, the formula does not flake.
At my age I have tried them all--I fall for all the claims made saying the lashes will look longer and fuller, etc., but that doesn't work for me anymore. Also, being fair, I find black mascara is just too intense for my complexion and I don't need an unnecessary draw to my eyes--that is why I have switched to brown mascara and have gone back to the best, most perfect mascara I think there is. Pricey, sure, but at least I don't end up throwing it away like I do with most others. It is so easy to apply, the plush brush is easy to handle and if I do smudge, it is easy to clean. I plan on getting the blue shade soon. I do find Dior has the best makeup products, tried and true and having many faithful devotees.
