The texture of this cream is sticky and it's very thick. I use a very small amount. it is recommended that you use it at night, so it will be on your nails longer - and I believe it works well. There is little residue - it is absorbed by your skin right away. The scent is pleasant.
I have the absolute worst cuticles ever! They're super dry and I have the worst habit of picking them or cutting them. They bleed, scab, I pick, and so on. I've been looking for something to break that cycle. If they don't look dry, I'm less prone to picking them but I've tried so many cuticle oils, cremes and lotions but nothings ever really helped. Cuticle oil or coconut oil was helping a bit but it didn't absorb for a long time and my cuticles would be dry within the hour. I was skeptical to purchase this but with so many raving reviews, I decided to try it and it was the best decision! Upon first use, I noticed it was VERY sticky and thick (which I thought, oh no....this wont absorb...) but after I rubbed it in and about 5 minutes later, it was completely absorbed in and not oily or sticky but still moisturized ( I use a hand creme after and I find it helps absorb better). I first tried it around 2pm and my cuticles were still moisturized until I went to bed and re-applied. To my shock, after a full nights sleep, I awoke to perfectly moisturized cuticles!! I immediately purchased another one to keep in my purse. Also, don't let the price scare you. The tiniest bit is needed and the pot in generous and unless you wash your hands often, you don't need to reapply that often so definitely will last a long time!
