Prosmoisturizing, shiny
I've been using Lustreglass for quite a long time, it's my favorite. I love the sheerness of the color and the shine, yet it feels substantial and seems to last nicely. Love Nectar is a great neutral color. I was pleasantly surprised by the Gold...looks more like shimmer than actual gold color and is destined to be another one I always have on hand. Venetian is the closest thing in Lustreglass to a red but it's not really very red...wish it was!
This is the best lipgloss I have ever worn. Ever. It is super sticky, so I only use it when I'm also styling my hair up. But because it is so sticky it stays for hours! If I'm careful I can even eat and barely need to touch up when I'm done. As long as you can still feel the stickiness you know it is still there - which I love, personally. The color "beaux" is my go-to shade. I am very pale with blonde hair and blue eyes and cool skin tone, but I think this color would work for any skin color/tone. It is a gorgeous pinky, browny, mauve with high shine and a bit of pearlization. I put it over bright lip pencils to tone the color down a little, over nude or pale shades to give them shine, or sometimes just wear it alone. I worn this at my wedding - it lasted all day and I got a lot of compliments! If you are only going to get one lipgloss - make it MAC's luster gloss in Beaux!
I'm an "average" makeup wearer (i.e. don't wear a ton, definitely not a makeup artist), so sometimes the MAC counter intimidates me... But I keep going back for this product. Have worn it for years. Gives just enough color, some shine/shimmer, a little pick-me-up for the whole face, but way understated at the same time. Love it. It's a bit sticky so I can't wear it if it's super windy (my hair will stick to my lips). :)

Proslong-wearing, non-sticky, moisturizing, hoard it
This is the perfect lipgloss - color and feel. It stands alone and plays nice with all your lipsticks too. I love it over Hug Me for late summer and into fall.
