When my skin is looking good and I don't want the look of foundation, this is a great alternative to heavier makeup. Just makes your skin look flawless and healthy. No color to blend. I can't really explain what it does, but it's so good.
I've tried every primer on the market. You name it, I've tried it. Some were 3-4 times the price of this 2 ounce (not 1 ounce) tube, and they all performed much worse.
My skin is schizophrenic and has multiple personalities - dry, oily, super dry/flaky, super-oily, hypersensitive and prone to allergic breakouts as well as acne breakouts. I experience the most extreme skin changes on a daily basis. It has not been easy finding a skincare and makeup line that works on my skin, so I am forever on the hunt and constantly changing brands.
HOWEVER, I can say with certainty that 'The Present' primer by Philosophy will be a repurchase and my go to primer from now on. Since I have every skin condition under the sun as listed above, I think that this primer will work on all skin types.
Don't fall for the super-expensive brands. Like I said, I've been a guinea pig, and I've tried them all. And the others performed much worse. Many brands use silicone, and it felt greasy and heavy on my skin. The brands that don't use silicone still didn't work with my skin.

Proslight, flawless
27 year old female, I have oily skin and my makeup literally slides off of my face. This primer holds all of my makeup in place all day! It has stayed on through long days, weddings, late nights, etc. Love it! It does not dry out my skin or make my skin feel too tight, but I do always put on a light moisturizer before the primer (and I do have oily skin). I have not had much success with other primers.
