Prosmoisturizing, natural-looking, easy to use
I received this as a sample from my last make up order from Nordstrom. I decided I might as well give it a try. This stuff is unbelievable! I have golden undertones so it's hard to find a tanner that hits that olive/golden color. Also - now that I am a mom I have been wearing retro one pieces that don't have the best tan lines. I slathered this on my belly, and entire upper body and got the most amazing results. I don't look like I have tan lines! I haven't used it on my face (a little scared for that) - but I'll be being the full sized product of this asap.

Proseasy to use, moisturizing, natural-looking
I received a sample of this and on my first try was like WHOA, this stuff is way too dark and it totally stained my hands. BUT, I decided to read the reviews on here to see what it was all about.
I tried it again and used latex (disposable) gloves - MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! One, the product does not get on your hands and stain them when wearing gloves but it does not get wasted that way either - I used a lot less product w/ gloves on b/c it wasn't seeping into my hands. Also - I used a little bit of body lotion on dry areas like my heals/feet and knees so it would give dark spots and that helps too.
This doesn't last as long as it says - I put it on two days ago and had to reapply today so it is definitely not a weekly tanner HOWEVER I do shave every day and I have been swimming a lot so that could also wash it off quicker as well. May last longer in the fall/winter.
I haven't tried this on my arms yet b/c they are pretty tan (for me) from swimming but i did use it on my stomach and it makes my white stomach blend a lot better!!
I'm pale/fair skinned w/ freckles and this product works fine but definitely use the gloves b/c the application goes on much more smoothly and looks much more natural.
Last but not least - smells nice but does start to smell like self tanner as time goes on but that really doesn't bother me. Also - it is pretty moisturizing but it dries pretty quick so it is not a greasy moisturizer.

Stick with Tan Towel

I have used this product twice in the past 2 weeks. Both times, I followed directions and even used the Xen-Tan exfoliator/sponge (free with purchase) and Xen-Tan Scent Secure daily protection. I agree with the other reviews that it has a pleasant scent on application and initially, it is a lovely dark color. But it becomes streaky, spots as it quickly fades and it smells like a self-tanner (even with the Scent Secure) within a few hours.
Case in point - yesterday, the afternoon after my second tanning application, I went to the gym. Upon taking my socks off after working out, there was color on the socks and I was left with something similar to a "golfer's tan". Unfortunately, I can't return these products since I discarded the original packaging upon receipt. Shame on me! Stick with Tan Towel...I know that I will.

Favorite tanning lotion to date! I have fair skin, blonde hair...and it looks very natural. Goes on a decent color, and in a few hours will be SEVERAL shades darker. Doesn't fade quickly either and leaves a nice (natural) golden glow.
I recommend that you MUST: Use gloves when applying...even if you wash them immediately after, they will still be EXTREMELY dark. Latex gloves from a drug store work fine if you do not want to purchase the mitt.
